A Summer Like No Other
Started in 2019, A Summer At Sacred Heart (SASH), is a day camp in Winchester, VA that seeks to accomplish two missions. First, to provide an engaging and exciting atmosphere where campers can make fast friends, great memories and have a fantastic Summer. Second, to provide an empowering environment where our staff can both take an active role growing in their Catholic faith, while strengthening their professional skills as teachers and camp leaders.

We provide the largest variety of summer camp offerings in the Shenandoah Valley!
- Provides over 50 different themed camps, aged 3-13, across 7 weeks, with something to offer for everyone.
- Extended Camp offers flexible scheduling, that includes early morning and afternoon care with discounted pay in advance rates, or flexible daily drop-in rates.
- Our camp is staffed by some of the best instructors you will ever meet. They are our biggest asset, our best investment, and the heart and soul of SASH. All staff undergo a detailed hiring process that includes a fingerprint and background check, personal interview, and a detailed pre-camp training.

SASH is more than a Summer Job, It is the opportunity to deepen your Catholic faith, grow your professional skills, and be directly involved in building a community where our campers are excited to spend the Summer.
- When not leading the camps, you will get to attend Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and engaging theological classes.
- All staff members receive a three-week paid training, so prior experience working with kids or running a camp is not needed. We want you to bring your unique talents, abilities, and bright personalities to help us make the summer great.
- Work alongside other energetic, enthusiastic, and responsible High School and College-age instructors to build your own Summer camps from the ground up and serve as role models for our campers. We provide all of the structure to help you succeed.
