Leadership Roles
Pre-K Instructor
We have specific camps for our campers ages 3-5. If you love working with this age group, this is the job for you! Pre-K instructors primarily work with the Pre-K camps to ensure consistency. The hours for this position are generally 8:15 am to 3:30 pm.
Volunteer
Students entering grades 8-12 in the fall of 2025 are eligible to volunteer at Summer At Sacred Heart. This is a great junior position as you are able to learn the ins-and-outs of all roles and camp themes. Plus, you get to follow the exact same schedule as all of the Staff!
Instructor
Our instructors are the ones leading the camps, providing a positive role model, enthusiasm, and guidance to make sure everyone has a good time. They also design the camps during the training weeks. This gives instructors direct ownership over what they do in the camps. Instructor hours are generally from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm.
Admin Assistant
Admin assistants work behind the scenes compiling the daily rosters, managing the SASH office, and supporting the camps. Will use Excel, Word, and Sharepoint. The hours for this position are generally 8:15 am to 3:30 pm.
Supply Chief
This is a new position we created this year! This person will keep a running inventory of all SASH supplies, organize and distribute camp supplies, place supply orders, and work with the admins to ensure that each camp has what it needs. The hours for this position are generally 8:15 am to 3:30 pm. Must be able to work independently.
Afternoon Camp Coordinator
This is an administrative position that has the following responsibilities: coordinate the set-up of aftercare to include receiving and recording payments, monitoring attendance, setting up stations, coordinating cleanup, maintaining supplies, etc. Previous SASH experience is a plus
Volunteering at SASH
- Volunteers follow the same schedule as staff members (8:15 am – 3:15 pm) for the full week during which they would like to volunteer.

SASH Testimonials
“It’s a new experience every day. You never know what you’re gonna walk into. It might be a dinosaur running down the hall or some knight with a cape. Everyone has so much fun and it’s such a cheerful and uplifting community.”

The Community here is so unique…It’s incredible that I’m able to get paid to go to adoration…mass, and then spend all this time with the kids…(SASH) is focused so much on our spiritual life and on how we can grow as a person instead of just a job that we go to during the day.

“We all get to work together with these amazing kids and we get to be like one big, giant, family, and attend mass and grow in our spiritual journeys together.”

“I’ve loved working at Sash ever since I was a volunteer. It teaches us how to become teachers to the campers and spread Christ in little ways and gives us the opportunity to become closer to Jesus every summer with so much time spent with him in the mass and adoration. I’ve loved everything I’ve learned from the kids and my coworkers.”

“I’ve been a part of SASH ever since it started, year 1, which was 2019…I was a camper. It’s so fun. You get to meet so many people and get so close to them. It’s just a great experience to have and I think everyone should try it out.”
